Cheap and Tasty

When I stumbled upon a box of 10 coffee sachets for just £1 in Poundland, I didn't have high expectations.

But with a price tag of only 10p per drink, it was worth a shot.

Poundland vs Aldi

After some investigation, I found that Poundland's coffees were not only cheap, but also cheaper than the own-brand versions at Aldi.

With prices as low as 8p per drink, I decided to put them to the test and see if any could rival a more expensive high street brew.

The Winners

Mokate Gold Latte Classic

At £1 for 10 sachets, this instant latte pleasantly surprised me. It has a mild flavor, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste. The low-fat content makes it a healthier choice, and it's also quite creamy.

Taste: 6/10   Price: 9/10   Overall: 15/20

Mokate Gold Latte Caramel

If you have a sweet tooth, this caramel latte is for you. It has a mild caramel flavor and a sweeter aftertaste. At just 10p per sachet, it's a great bargain and beats Aldi's own-brand version.

Taste: 9/10   Price: 9/10   Overall: 18/20

Mokate Gold Cappuccino Classic

While I'm more of a latte person, this cappuccino has a stronger flavor without being overpowering. It's still creamy and satisfying. A good choice for 10p.

Taste: 6/10   Price: 9/10   Overall: 15/20

NY Coffee 3 in 1 Instant White Coffee

At just 8p per sachet, this was the cheapest coffee I tested. And boy, was it a pleasant surprise! The frothy milk on top and the great flavor made it hard to believe it came out of a packet. A great option if you're not a coffee snob.

Taste: 6/10   Price: 10/10   Overall: 16/20

Maxwell House 2 in 1 White Coffee

For 10p per sachet, this Maxwell House coffee packs a punch and is perfect for starting the day. With its stronger kick and great taste, it's a bargain for the price.

Taste: 7/10   Price: 9/10   Overall: 16/20

Maxwell House Latte

At just 12p per sachet, Maxwell House's lattes are also a steal. They provide a satisfying cup of coffee without breaking the bank.

So, if you're looking for a cheap and tasty cup of joe, Poundland's coffees are definitely worth a try.
