US chain expands its breakfast offerings
A popular US fast-food chain, Popeyes, is expanding its breakfast menu to seven more UK locations. The menu includes a variety of breakfast rolls, muffins, sweet snacks, and sides, with items priced starting from £1.50.
What's on the menu?
Customers can enjoy a Big Cajun Breakfast roll for £4.99, Louisiana Biscuits in different flavors, egg and cheese muffins, and more. A special offer from February 20 to March 20 allows foodies to grab a bacon roll, hash brown, and drink for £1.99.
Where to find it
The new breakfast menu is available at 22 Popeyes sites in the UK, but not at certain locations. Some of the sites offering the breakfast menu include Metrocentre in Newcastle, Richmond, Cardiff Bay, and Nottingham.
Expansion plans
Popeyes has announced intentions to open 30 more UK sites by 2024, creating around 2,000 jobs. The chain, known for its burgers, currently operates 38 sites in the UK, with plans to expand to Birmingham, Aberdeen, and Swansea.
McDonald's update
In addition to Popeyes, McDonald's recently added new items to its breakfast menu, including the breakfast wrap and KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry. Fans have been thrilled with the updated offerings.
