Mr Johnson wooed ordinary Brits at the expense of the rich in his policy-packed manifesto.

Addressing the sky-high childcare costs working families face, he announced a 1billion fund to roll out more affordable childcare.

He also promised a transport revolution by waging war on hundreds of thousands of potholes, beefing up bus links, and creating new railway connections in the North and Midlands.

Boris also confirmed he will dish out a tax cut for 31million working Brits by raising the National Insurance threshold to 9,500 next year.

And he bravely shelved planned tax cuts for the highest earners and to Corporation tax insisting it was right to target Britains cash at the squeezed middle.

Launching his plan for power, he declared: I think it is right to focus our tax cuts on people who need them most.
