Dior bragged about dressing Harry

After the world watched Harry arrive at Westminister Abbey in their suit the brand posted a Tweet about their partnership with the royal.

They wrote on Twitter: “Tailoring fit for royalty.

“Dior is honored to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones.

“Seen arriving at Westminster Abbey, gain an insight into the savoir-faire of his three-piece suit next.”

The tweet sparked anger among royal fans who felt the duke was “cashing in” on his father’s big day.

One person wrote: “Wow merching off the coronation? Was this the deal for a free suit? Know where not to shop in future.”

Another added: “This is pretty disgusting. How would a fashion brand be “affirming” what a royal is wearing. It’s so cheap and crass.”

A third said: “Personally I wouldn’t have claimed any connection. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.”

However, some well-wisher rushed to compliment and defend Harry.

One fan tweeted: “Great job! He looks so dapper.”

A second said: “Dior dressed him well. Looking very Chic… I like it.”

It comes after Harry arrived back in the US in time for his son’s birthday after rushing home from the coronation.

The duke arrived at Los Angeles International Airport at around 7.30pm local time – 3.30am UK – after spending just 28 hours in the UK.

He was in a race against the clock to make it back for his son Archie’s birthday.

While Harry watched his father be crowned King, Prince Archie spent the day with his mother, the Duchess of Sussex, at their US home.

Harry left behind his father and other royals at London’s Westminster Abbey at around 1.15pm.

He hopped into a blacked-out electric BMW and was whizzed 20 miles to Heathrow, arriving by police convoy around 2.05pm.
