PRINCE Harry arrived back in the US in time for his son’s birthday after rushing home from his father’s coronation.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at Los Angeles International Airport at around 7.30pm local time – 3.30am UK – after spending just 28 hours in the UK.

He was in a race against the clock to make it back for his son Archie’s birthday.

While Harry watched his father be crowned King, Prince Archie spent the day with his mother, the Duchess of Sussex, at their US home.

Harry left behind his father and other royals at London’s Westminster Abbey at around 1.15pm.

He hopped into a blacked-out electric BMW and was whizzed 20 miles to Heathrow, arriving by police convoy around 2.05pm.

The grinning Duke was later pictured clutching an Order of Service from his dad’s crowning as he was taken into the VIP Windsor Suite at Terminal 5.

Harry was home for dinner time – with snaps showing him leave LAX in a Range Rover by 7.30pm.

The Duke – who wore his service medals – attended the coronation without Meghan, 41, or children Archie and Lilibet, one.

It was the first time he was seen publicly with his family since releasing his explosive biography Spare.

Prince Harry arrived at the coronation ceremony separately from his brother William.

The Duke was accompanied to the ceremony by Princess Beatrice’s hubby Edo Mapelli Mozzi.

He then took a seat in the third row of Royals, next to Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank.

On his other side was Princess Alexandra, 86 — Queen Elizabeth’s cousin.

Harry smiled and appeared happy throughout the two-hour ceremony, before making a swift exit as the King and Queen clambered into the Gold State Coach.
