I’M A Celebrity’s Mike Tindall tonight made a rather embarrassing confession about splitting his trousers whilst “s**t-dropping” in front of his royal mother-in-law.

The former rugby ace, 44, is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, after they met in Sydney, Australia during the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

But now Mike has revealed all about a hilarious encounter he had with the Queen’s daughter.

Speaking to his campmates on tonight’s episode he said: “Zara had like a 30th birthday, it was a disco 70s themed one, I was dancing on the dance floor, I had like flares on, full outfit but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law and I did a sl*t drop in front of my mother-in-law.”

With a cheeky smile, he added: “Ripped my trousers, straight in front of her. It happened to be that my boxers that I had on at that time said ‘nibble my nuts’.

“As I’ve turned round, she’s gone, ‘I’d rather not.’ I’ve gone, ‘I’m going’ and walked off.”

I’m A Celebrity fans LOVED this story, with one tweeting: “Mike s**t dropping in front of Princess Anne, ripping his trousers, with his boxers saying ‘nibble my nuts’ and her saying ‘I’d rather not’ is the best story I’ve heard in years ????.”

While this one added: “Mike… S**t dropped in front of Princess Anne, ripped trousers, to reveal boxers with “nibble my nuts boxers” on …

Another said: “Two words: Mike Tindall ?? What a story @miketindall13 #ImACelebrity.”

Meanwhile, Mike previously dished the dirt on him and Zara’s “boozy” first date.

Speaking to his fellow campmates he said: “First actual date, just went out for lunch locally.

“And ended up being quite a boozy one. Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start.”

Meanwhile, before heading into the jungle, Mike revealed he did have discussions with the Royal Family before joining I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Speaking to the press before heading into the jungle, the rugby ace said: “We did, well, I had a few conversations, but they’re between me and them.”

It comes as Mike also revealed he fears he will infuriate the I’m A Celebrity campmates with his noisy eating habits – a trait his wife Zara despises.

The ex-England rugby captain said the Royal had warned him to watch his unrefined manners while in camp.

He said: “Zara’s biggest worry is how loud I am when I eat.

“She will be very happy if someone comments about how loud I breathe when I eat because it’s always a point that she brings up.

“But when your nose has been mangled as much as mine has – it is just a byproduct.

“Zara told me to go and be myself, which is all you can be. She said to go enjoy yourself and be yourself.”

The 2003 Rugby World Cup winner suffered his first nasal injury at the age of five before breaking it at least eight more times throughout his sporting career.
