PRINCE Andrew is facing new evidence that undermines his claim he did not know teenage trafficking victim Virginia Roberts, it’s claimed.

Her lawyer David Boies said further evidence linking the Duke of York with Ms Roberts will be revealed as part of a string of civil lawsuits by victims of serial paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

David Boies, speaking in an interview with The Mail on Sunday, said: “There is other evidence that will come out that undercuts his assertion that he didn’t know Virginia, had not been with her.

“I think the mistake that he [Prince Andrew] made was thinking that somehow this evidence wouldn’t dribble out and now, of course, that’s exactly what’s happening.

“I think it just puts him in a terrible position and one that could have been avoided, at least in part, if he had simply been more forthright and forthcoming initially.

“A judge in New York in some of the cases has set a discovery cut-off for June, so I think a lot of this will come out between now and June.”

Ms Roberts, now 35, says she was “passed around like a toy” by US billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and his Brit socialite ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

She alleges she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York in London, New York and the US Virgin Islands as a 17-year-old in 2001.

Mr Boies has also urged the Metropolitan Police to reopen an investigation into Ms Roberts’s claims and condemned Andrew for refusing to cooperate with Epstein’s victims.

In January, authorities announced Andrew has refused to work with federal investigators as they continue their probe into Epstein.

The Duke strongly denies all allegations made against him.

Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on The Mail on Sunday claims.

Previously a spokesperson said: “It is emphatically denied the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts.

“Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

Ghislaine Maxwell has denied any wrongdoing.
