HARROGATE, ENGLAND - JULY 11: HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York visits the Showground on the final day of the 161st Great Yorkshire Show on July 11, 2019 in Harrogate, England. Organiser’s of the show this year have revealed that overall entries for the three-day show are higher than in any previous years. The Great Yorkshire Show is England’s premier agricultural event and is organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. The YAS support and promotes the farming industry through health care, business, education and funding scientific research into rural affairs. First held in 1838 the show brings together agricultural displays, livestock events, farming demonstrations, food, dairy and produce stands as well as equestrian events. The popular agricultural show is held over three days and celebrates the farming and agricultural community and their way of life. (Photo by Ian Forsyth/Getty Images)

No, Andrew

THERE have long been suggestions that Prince Andrew isn’t the sharpest tool in the royal box.

But his decision to launch a legal bid to reopen his civil sex abuse case may be one of his least wise moves yet.

Is the Duke of York really willing to spend hundreds of thousands more to fight the case again?

The Duke spent millions of pounds — much of it coughed up by the Queen and Prince Charles — to make the case go away by settling out of court.

Now he is preparing to spend hundreds of thousands more to fight it all over again.

But what, really, has changed since he wrote that monster cheque last February?

Lawyers for Andrew say he has been given fresh hope by his pal Ghislaine Maxwell’s prison testimony.

She will be seen on video tomorrow night saying the infamous picture of the prince with his arm around a 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre is a fake.

In the absence of an original, proving it was doctored is surely a classic case of — forgive us the pun — trying to prove a negative.

And there are still very serious questions to be asked about Andrew’s close friendship with Ms Giuffre’s billionaire paedophile abuser Jeffrey Epstein.

Lawyers for Epstein’s victims will be licking their lips at the prospect of the prince on the witness stand.

Andrew is desperate to get back to royal duties and presumably thinks it worth the risk to clear his name once and for all.

The King reportedly won’t stand in his way.

Perhaps he should — before yet more damage is inflicted on the royal institution.

Tank herr shun

FOR decades Germany has sought to use its post-WW2 economic might to dominate its European neighbours to its advantage.

Now, as a devastating war once again shatters the Continent’s peace, it has been found utterly wanting.

It’s nauseating to see Germany walking away from Ukrainians’ plea for help

The sight of a German leader walking away from Ukrainians’ pleas for crucial Leopard 2 battle tanks is nauseating.

Senior MPs from all parties today plead with the German defence minister to follow Britain’s lead.

Don’t hold your breath.

Down the Tube

VILE Andrew Tate is currently in custody in Romania on charges of rape and exploitation.

Yet a Sun investigation today reveals impressionable young boys are still at risk of being exposed to his repulsive sexist videos on YouTube — within less than 30 minutes of creating an account.

Andrew Tate is just one of thousands who profits from the swamp of hate on YouTube

Tate is just one of thousands of deeply dangerous influencers and conspiracy theorists who profit from the social media giant’s vast network.

YouTube is a swamp of hate.

And yet no one in the company seems prepared to drain it.
