PRINCE Charles is “frustrated” with Meghan Markle for overshadowing his green initiative with social media posts about dogs, according to reports.

The second in line to the throne is understood to be doubly annoyed with his daughter-in-law because he had taken steps to make sure there wouldn’t be a clash.

Charles announced his Sustainable Markets Initiative in Davos on Wednesday as part of a radical push to tackle climate change.

But at the same time, Meghan posted pictures of a visit to a dog rescue centre that took place weeks ago.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: The Palace wanted someone from their side involved in the co-ordination of diaries and press activities last week, but the request was rejected by the Sussexes.

“The couples rejection of any simple co-ordination hasnt gone down too well with Charles.”

BANK OF DAD

Meghan used the Sussex Royal Instagram account to promote her visit to animal charity Mayhew before she fled to Canada with baby Archie.

The Duchess pictured beaming as she patted dogs – revealing the visit the same dayKate Middleton launched a whistlestop tour to promote a major early childhood project.

Prince Charles was said to be “hurt” by hers and Harry’s decision to quit the royal family after secretly funding their lavish lifestyle.

The Prince of Wales handed the money to his youngest son on top of the 2.3million he andMeghan already receive per year from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Insiders claim he paid out hundreds of thousands of pounds to help furnish Frogmore House along with the 2.4million of taxpayer cash spent on renovations and paid a “small fortune” for their wedding.

Despite this, the couple will still be funded for the upkeep of their home by Charles under the Megxit agreement.

MEGXIT CRISIS

He will also continue to fund the couple for a year before a review of the deal is carried out.

The loan will come from the Prince of Wales’ own personal investments and not the Duchy of Cornwall – despite the couple’s personal wealth standing at 33million.

Harry and Meghanwill have to repay the 2.4million spent on Frogmore Cottage by taxpayersand it “will remain their UK family home”.

And they will now be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and “will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family”.

And Harry will lose his Captain General of Marines, Hon Air Commandant, Commodore-In-Chief and Youth Ambassador titles.

The couple have now reunited in Canada with baby Archie as they prepare to begin a new life away from the royal family.

The Sussexes will continue to maintain their private patronages and associations, but they “no longer formally represent The Queen”.

After a year, the Megxit deal will be reviewed again by the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William.

Speaking after the terms were reached, the Queen said she was pleased that “a constructive and supportive way forward” had been found.
