THE Queen has axed plans for Prince Andrew’s 60th birthday bash – and is “aggrieved” over claims she approved his car-crash interview.
She is now said to be arranging a small family dinner for her scandal-ridden son, who she sacked in the aftermath of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Andrew – said to be the Queen’s favourite son – hits the milestone on February 19 with the monarch originally planning a party, HOARday Times reports.
The embattled princewas stripped of his royal duties and 249,000 sovereign grantafter stepping down from royal duties on Wednesday.
It has since emerged the Queen did not approve his controversial BBC Newsnight interview about his relationship with paedo pal Epstein.
The 59-year-oldsparked outrage with withhis denialsand wasblasted for his “lack of empathy”forEpstein’salleged victim.
‘AGGRIEVED’
She is now said to be privately supportive of Andrew but deeply frustrated the scandal has overshadowed the work of the rest of the royals.
A royal source told the newspaper: “The Queen did not give her approval. The fact that notion has somehow been put about has aggrieved people in the [royal] households.
“Andrew had a son-to-mother conversation, letting her know that he was planning to address the controversy, but without going into any details.
“What should have happened was the full palace process.”
The Queen is understood to have come to the decision to sack Andrew after consulting Prince Charles – the next in line to the throne.
Andrew has been accused of sensational claims he bedded a 17-year-old and has faced mounting criticism for his friendship with the disgraced tycoon.
He will conduct no royal or public duties and will step back from all patronages.
Andrew has also said he would be “happy to co-operate” with authorities investigating Epstein – opening him up to serious criminal risk.
The FBI are now examining procedures for a formal interview with Andrew in Britain.
He is believed to be unaware of the worldwide outrage sparked by his interview with Emily Maitlis, shown on BBC2 last Saturday night.
Viewers were especially angry over his lack of sympathy for the victims ofEpstein, his former friend who died in August awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
He was also ridiculed over his repeated denials of any sexual relationship withthen 17-year-old Virginia Roberts.
