Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Trooping the Colour for King Charles’ birthday?

It has not been confirmed whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend Trooping the Colour or not.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly not on the invite list for the event which will mark Charles’ first birthday as King.

Trooping the Colour has marked the official birthday of the British monarch for more than 260 years.

Despite King Charles’ actual birthday being on November 14, monarchs typically have two birthdays, with one marked by Trooping the Colour.

All senior members of the royal family are due to go, as the royals wave to the crowds from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

But it is still if unclear if Prince Harry and Meghan will be going.

When was the last time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Trooping the Colour?

The last time Harry and Meghan attended Trooping the Colour as working royals was in 2019.

In 2022 they both went to the event as non-working royals.

The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic and in 2021 it was scaled down to a smaller event at Windsor Castle.

Where will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be instead?

If Meghan and Harry don’t go to Trooping the Colour, the pair may stay at their home in the US.

The couple moved to America back in 2020 when they stepped down from being senior royals.

They confirmed they would not be taking on any more official royal duties when they were expecting their second child.

Following this, Meghan and Harry did an interview with Oprah Winfrey where they talked about their experiences at royals.

They have also taken on other projects such as Harry’s memoir Spare.

They also released a docuseries on Netflix called Harry and Meghan.

Harry went to King Charles’ coronation but Meghan stayed at home with their children.
