The tension reached its peak when Bob spotted Wendy and Liam leaving the GP surgery together. Unaware that Wendy had just handed in her notice in an effort to rebuild their relationship, Bob confronted the pair. In a fit of rage, he punched Liam in the face, exchanged insults, and even launched Archie's football at Liam as he walked away.
