CORONATION Street viewers were left struggling to watch the latest edition of the soap as Ryan Connor took the brave step of looking at his facial injuries for the very first time.
Ryan, played by actor Ryan Prescott, finally agreed to see his face without the bandages and was left floored by the scars that lied beneath.

Viewers have seen Ryan recuperating in hospital following the horror attack by Daisy Midgeley’s stalker Justin which saw him covered in acid.
In horrifying scenes, Ryan was left screaming in terror on the floor of the Rovers and in the shower as Daisy attempted to wash the acid off.
Last night, Ryan made the brave step to look at his injuries once and for all with the support of Carla Connor.
The results were a shock for Ryan and he was then dealt a further blow when he was told he needed a skin graft again as the wounds were not healing how the doctors would have hoped.
Shockingly, Ryan vanished from his hospital bed as he could not face the thought of having a second skin graft.
Doctors were left concerned that Ryan’s exposed wound could become infected and he could possibly contract the deadly sepsis.
Eventually, Carla managed to find the worried lad as he wandered the streets of Weatherfield.
Viewers were left overcome with emotion as they struggled to watch on as Ryan dealt with the reality of life moving forward.
One fan said: “Can understand Ryan running away, he’s frightened of all the extra pain he has to go through to help him heal, heartbreaking…”
