There's drama brewing in the world of Strictly Come Dancing as three of the show's finalists allegedly snubbed fellow contestant Nigel Harman following a backstage controversy. Layton Williams, Bobby Brazier, and Vito Coppola have all reportedly failed to follow Nigel on Instagram, signaling a rift between the former co-stars.

Backstage Drama Unveiled

Nigel Harman's Strictly Come Dancing journey came to an end when an injury forced him out of the competition. Despite the setback, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola went on to win the show. However, it seems that Nigel's departure wasn't without its share of controversy.

According to reports, crew members were relieved when Nigel left the competition, citing his backstage mood swings as the reason. He was known to take disappointing scores from the judges very seriously, often causing tension behind the scenes. Furthermore, he was accused of having a heated argument with his wife, Lucy Liemann, in front of shocked fans in Blackpool after receiving low marks.

Instagram Snub Raises Eyebrows

Now, it appears that Nigel didn't form a close bond with three of his fellow celebrity dancers either. Layton Williams, Bobby Brazier, and Vito Coppola, who spent nearly three months together every weekend, have chosen not to follow Nigel on Instagram, leading to speculation of a feud.

A Strictly insider shed light on Nigel's behavior, stating, "Nigel takes himself very seriously as a performer and throws himself heart and soul into things. So obviously, he's very emotional if things don't go as he hoped. That often means that he can be like a bear with a sore head backstage."

The insider added, "The crew and pros on the show are like a close family, and the celebrities are welcomed into that. But if someone upsets that long-standing dynamic, it can create bad feeling."

Finalists Wish Nigel Well

Despite the reported tension, the Strictly insiders emphasized that the contestants wish Nigel the best and look forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday, December 16. It's undoubtedly disappointing for Nigel, but the show must go on.

Professional dancer Vito Coppola ultimately emerged as the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, claiming the coveted trophy with his partner, Ellie Leach.
