Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin couldn't hold back his tears as he said an emotional goodbye to Layton Williams.

Last night, Ellie Leach, best known for her role in Coronation Street, claimed the top spot and became the youngest ever winner after three months of training. Layton Williams and Bobby Brazier were also in the running.

Although all the couples received positive feedback, it was Ellie who was crowned this year's Strictly Come Dancing winner. Overwhelmed by her victory, she thanked her professional partner Vito Coppola, saying, "You are Strictly. You are the diamond, you are shining."

Ellie and Vito wowed the audience with their performances throughout the competition. They chose a Jennifer Lopez Megamix for the Show Dance category and gave a second stunning performance of the American Smooth to Ain't That A Kick In The Head by Robbie Williams.
They also impressed the judges with their Paso Doble to Insomnia by 2WEI, which was the Judges' Pick. The evening ended with Vito giving Ellie a kiss on the cheek.
