Big Reveals at Pokémon Day 2024
‘We’re so back’ Pokémon players cannot wait to play the upcoming Pokémon Legends. To celebrate Pokémon Day 2024, a Pokémon Presents was held with all the biggest announcements for the franchise. As is normal with Pokémon Presents, the showcase saved the best until last with one final amazing trailer.
Return to Kalos in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A showed Kalos as we know it today. This upcoming mainline game in the series follows on from 2022’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which sent players back in time to the past land of Hisui. However, Z-A seems poised to take a different approach.
Exploring Lumiose City
The trailer showcased Lumiose City of Kalos from 2013’s Pokémon X and Y. It is believed that Z-A will take place in Lumiose City before its development into the bustling metropolis we know today. Fans can expect Mega Evolutions to make a return, with new possibilities for old favorites.
Speculations and Rumors
With the title Z-A, fans speculate that the new Legends game may focus on the legendary Pokémon Zygarde. Additionally, references to the character AZ from Pokémon X and Y have sparked theories about the game's storyline. Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set to launch in 2025 exclusively on Nintendo consoles.
