A NEW Pokémon is being added to Scarlet and Violet, and fans can grab it completely free.

Unlike Hisuian Zoroark, which requires players to grab the DLC, anyone can play this one.

Rilaboom will be available for two weekends.

A fan-favourite starter, which is currently popular in the competitive scene, is coming to the game.

Rillaboom is the most popular starter from Generation 8, and is known for its huge attack stat, and great supportive moves.

We predicted that Rillaboom would be the next seven-star raid target after Delphox.

This is because Pokémon Home only allowed players to transfer starter Pokémon that had already appeared in seven-star raids.

The two exceptions were Delphox and Rillaboom, both of which have now appeared.

Rillaboom will take to seven-star raids for two weekends.

The first takes place from Friday, July 28, 2023, until Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Rillaboom’s second weekend is just one week afterwards, starting on Friday, August 4, 2023, and ending on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

After this it is not expected to reappear, so Pokémon fans should grab the drum-beating monkey while they can.

Rillaboom will come with a Normal-tera type, meaning that it is likely to come with some strong Normal-type moves.

It also has the hidden ability Grassy Surge which will start Grass Terrain as it comes in.

This will increase the power of Grass-type moves and give the player passive healing.

The Grassy Terrain will help both you and Rillaboom, which you can factor into your strategy.

The Rillaboom will be the final seven-star raid before the Pokémon World Championship, which will take place in Yokohama, Japan, starting on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Only the best players from around the world can take part, as invitations are received through taking part in different tournaments throughout the year.

Raids will likely begin again after Worlds, which ends on Monday, August 14, 2023.

The Gastrodon, which won Worlds in 2022, will also be given away as part of the event.
