Excitement is building among gamers as the potential release date for the PS5 Slim has been leaked.
Extra special bundle
Sony is planning something extra special to mark the occasion by bundling the new console model with the highly anticipated game, Spider-Man 2.
Spider-Man 2 is due for release on October 20.
Leaked release date
According to leaker billbil-kun, the PS5 Slim is set to arrive on November 8.
The bundle will include a disk drive console along with the Spider-Man 2 game.
However, it's important to note that this leak applies to the US only for now.
The availability of the bundle and release date in the UK and other countries is yet to be confirmed.
Slimmed down build
Sony claims that the slimmed down PS5 Slim is a third smaller and much lighter than the original PS5.
Additionally, a new detachable disc drive will be available for players to purchase and attach to their system at a later date.
Pricing
The PS5 Slim with disc-drive is expected to cost £479 ($499).
The digital edition, on the other hand, will be priced at £389 ($449).
