One of the stars of I’m A Celebrity has been accused of “faking” their terrified reaction to a trial, with a body language expert claiming that it was all an act. Last night, the hit ITV reality show returned to TV with a new batch of campmates facing a series of trials. However, First Dates star Fred Siriex’s terrified reaction to his first trial has come under scrutiny.
During the trial, which involved dangling over the side of a skyscraper, Fred appeared to be visibly frightened. However, body language expert Judi James has stated that his reaction seemed incongruent. She pointed out that Fred maintained strong eye contact with the camera and had a relaxed, asymmetric grin, which contradicted his claims of being scared of everything. James also noted that Fred’s fear responses, particularly in the helicopter, appeared to be more like exaggerated theater.
On the other hand, James praised fellow campmate Danielle Harold for her authentic fear response. She described Danielle’s physiological reaction, such as shaking and nervous laughter, as genuine. James highlighted the speed and intensity of Danielle’s trembling, indicating that it was not an act.

Meanwhile, viewers of the show have noticed that Sam Thompson’s boundless energy may already be starting to annoy him. Sam, a Made in Chelsea star known for his excitable personality and ADHD diagnosis, was full of energy during the show’s debut. He was particularly taken by Fred and expressed his desire to befriend him.
In a recent interview, Sam opened up about his ADHD and how it affects his mood swings. He revealed that he experiences intense highs and lows, with even the smallest things having a significant impact on his emotions. Despite the challenges, Sam is currently a favorite to win the show, along with Josie Gibson and Danielle Harold.
