Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, along with TV presenter Marvin Humes and Jamie Lynn Spears, faced a terrifying skydive into the Australian jungle as they embarked on their I’m a Celebrity journey. The trio then took on the first trial of the series, known as the Temple of Doom, where they were covered in creepy crawlies and had to solve word riddles.

Spiders, Cockroaches, and Tarantulas

Nick Pickard, 48, had to catch stars with his mouth while being covered in spiders and cockroaches. He also had to capture a tarantula figure that dangled above him. Marvin Humes, 38, was covered in green ants that even bit his tongue as he solved a puzzle. Jamie Lynn Spears, 34, also had to deal with the ants while attempting to solve more word riddles.

Viewer Reactions

Viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the critter-filled challenges. Many sympathized with Nick, believing he had drawn the short straw. One fan joked about their own reaction if a cockroach ever landed in their mouth, while others expressed their discomfort with spiders. Overall, it seemed that Nick had the toughest trial of the group.

Other Celebrities Face Trials

Nigel Farage, the 59-year-old Ukip politician and broadcaster, also took part in a gruesome trial. Despite fears that he would miss the bushtucker trials, he joined TikTok star Nella Rose and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson as they made their way into the camp. Nigel revealed that he would be exempt from certain challenges due to his past injuries and surgeries.

It looks like the celebrities are in for a tough time in the jungle as they continue to face more challenges and trials. Stay tuned for more updates from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
