Nigel Farage’s girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, has finally spoken out about her recent injury while in Australia to support Nigel on I’m A Celebrity. Laure injured her arm shortly after arriving in Australia and had to be taken to the hospital, where her arm was placed in a sling. The injury made for an awkward reunion when she greeted Nigel on the famous treetop bridge. On the Coming Out show, Laure addressed the incident, explaining that she had an incident while surfing on her first day.
Nigel’s Third-Place Finish and Plans for a Drink
On the same show, Nigel Farage was seen greeting Laure after finishing in third place. Laure jokingly told him that his name is now “Nige” instead of Nigel. Nigel, however, had only one thing on his mind – a stiff drink. He mentioned his plans to have a beer as soon as he got to the hotel, followed by a gin and tonic, a glass of white wine, and a few more drinks later in the evening. Nigel was greeted at the hotel with a fresh beer, a Toblerone, and sardines, which he happily enjoyed.
The Relationship with Laure and Life at Home
Laure, a French politician, has been secretly dating Nigel Farage since 2017, but she has now stepped into the spotlight. When asked about living with Nigel, Laure laughed and said that life at home with him is very good. However, she did reveal that he doesn’t do any hoovering, but he is excellent at doing the dishes. In fact, he was appointed the chief pot washer in the jungle by camp leader Nella Rose. Laure found this to be the perfect job for Nigel.
A Long-Term Relationship
Nigel and Laure first met in 2007 when Laure was 28 and working as a waitress in Strasbourg, France. Sixteen years later, Laure wants to make it clear that she is not a secret and that she fully supports Nigel. Nigel’s mother, Barbara Farage, also approves of Laure, describing her as a chic, French lady who loves Nigel and always wants to be by his side.
