A JOB you might never have heard of pays a whopping £70k a year – and you don’t even need to have a degree.

A Scrum Master is one of the highest-paid jobs for non-graduates, according to job website Adzuna.

While it sounds like it has something to do with rugby, that’s far from the case.

It actually involves motivating and mentoring a scrum team, a tech team which uses a type of management system.

Most of these roles require skills and experience over formal education and qualifications.

While many associate well-paid jobs with university degree holders, it’s not always the case.

In fact, a degree doesn’t necessarily guarantee a higher salary.

There’s plenty of career options available for those without university qualifications.

Some could even see you earning eye-watering amounts.

Casino Gaming Managers can also earn impressive sums for their work – with an average salary of £70,000.

Other jobs on the list can fetch high salaries too.

Commercial pilots can earn an average of £60, 796, and also don’t require a university degree.

It comes as job site Adzuna listed 20 roles that don’t require a university education and pay more than the average UK annual salary of £33,000.

With the cost of a university education adding up to £57,000 on average, it could pay to pursue one of the high-paying careers that avoid taking on student loan debts and studying costs.

The average wage in the UK in the last tax year was around £33,000.

The national living wage in the UK, which is the minimum for those aged over 23, is rising to £10.42 next month.
