THIS is the little-known job where you can earn £110,000 a year without even needing a degree.
Job website Indeed made a list of the top roles which applicants only need A-levels to apply for, with this field clocking in with the highest average pay.
You could earn up to £110,000 as a risk manager without a degree
While it’s not every child’s dream, a career as a risk manager could see you handsomely paid even if you didn’t go to university.
According to Indeed, risk managers “plan and implement risk management processes” to protect their employers.
The summary adds: “They identify a range of risks, including environmental risk, technological risk and information and security risk.
“Risk managers help businesses forecast problems and prepare for them.”
Apprenticeships and promotion from administrative roles are both well-trodden routes into the field and a degree is not necessary for either.
Applicants with A-levels or equivalent, especially those who studied business-related subjects, are eligible for the jobs.
The site said that the national average salary for a risk manager is £50,987 annually.
Meanwhile, listings advertise roles with pay reaching up to £110,000 a year.
The next best-paid ads are with Deutsche Bank at £107,525 and Citi Group for £89,751.
Even lower-level risk analysts have an average salary of £41,441 nationally.
It comes after HOAR revealed the highest-paying jobs that don’t require a degree, some of which don’t even involve office work.
While footballers didn’t appear on that list, they could be counted in the same category, especially when you look at the rankings of the Premier League’s best-paid players.
