How to find a vintage comic

If you're looking to find a valuable comic, your best bet is comic shops and online platforms. Facebook Marketplace and eBay are useful portals, but be cautious of scams. Some sellers may lie about the quality of a comic, so it's important to be wary. When buying through Facebook Marketplace, don't pay upfront and bring cash when you collect. If you're using eBay, the platform should refund you if you've been scammed.

How to sell a valuable comic

If you have a valuable comic and want to sell it, you have three options:

1. eBay – smaller ticket items can be sold on eBay, but you may have to pay fees and shipping costs.

2. Auction houses – consider using auction houses like Sotheby's, but be aware of the charges involved.

3. Dealers – selling to a dealer, like Martin, can be a good way to sell a large number of comics, but be prepared to negotiate on price.

Keep in mind that the condition of a comic is crucial to its value. Comics in excellent condition with no creases or blemishes are worth the most.
