MEGHAN Markle’s celebrations for Archie’s birthday will be dramatically different to the coronation, according to sources.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, will reportedly throw an “intimate” bash to mark her son turning four while Harry, 38, attends the historical event estimated to cost millions.

The birthday falls on the same day as the King’s coronation

It’s understood Harry will only be in the UK for 24 hours before flying back to his family

King Charles, 74, will be officially crowned today as thousands of royal fans gather in London to watch.

The ceremony falls on the same day as his grandson Archie‘s birthday – and is understood to be the reason Meghan decided against making an appearance.

Instead, she will be throwing a party for the youngster at the couple’s Montecito mansion, it is believed.

A source close to Meghan told People: “It’s going to be a low-key party at home.

“They’ll have friends around them and Meghan’s mom, Doria.

“Meghan will definitely have support that weekend.”

Harry yesterday jetted in from California solo as wife Meghan stayed at home with the kids.

It comes as another source told US weekly Meghan wants the celebration to be an “intimate” one since Harry can’t be there.

They said: “Since Harry won’t be able to attend, she just wants to do something intimate with family and a few very close friends.”

The royal is only expected to be making a whirlwind visit before returning back to his family in the US.

A source previously told HOAR: “He’ll be in and out of the UK in 24 hours.”

The coronation will be the first time he has been with his family since the bombshells were dropped.

The Royal Family will be making an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace tomorrow afternoon after the monarch is crowned.

But King Charles has limited the event to working royals only – meaning it is likely Harry will miss out.

Despite this, Harry was said to be “desperate” to attend the coronation to support his father.

Behind the scenes in the capital, a huge security and logistical operation is advancing as police chiefs and transport bosses prepare for the biggest state event since the funeral of the Queen last year.

The security operation, Golden Orb, is not as big as Operation London Bridge, the funeral plan for Queen Elizabeth, as the site map for the coronation is much smaller.

The ring of steel safety measures are estimated to cost around £150million.
