CORONATION Street fans are disgusted after Max Turner chose racist Lauren over his friend Daryan.

The troubled teenager – who is played by actor Paddy Bever in the ITV soap – fell for Lauren’s vile lies about the refugee and even ignored her racist comments.

With Max being given a second chance at Speed Daal by Alya, he was on top of the world and bantering with his friend Daryan.

However when Lauren arrived, Max was even more thrilled and didn’t pick up on her clearly dodgy feelings about being at the restaurant.

With Max finishing his shift in the kitchen, Daryan went to say hello to Lauren to offer her a free drink from Alya.

And then Alya offered them a special discount for a meal but Lauren made out she felt sick.

However her true colours soon emerged.

Back at Griff’s flat Lauren lied to Max that Daryan was coming onto her and made her feel unsafe.

“I don’t want to ever go back there,” the vile racist said.

“I was really scared. That’s what made me feel sick.”

She manipulated Max into confronting Daryan and even with Alya backing him up, Max demanded an apology.

Later when Daryan tried to clear the air, Lauren pretended to be scared so Max would send him away.

And then she revealed her fully racism telling Daryan that him and Alya were lying: “She would say that, wouldn’t she. Your lot always stick together.”

Max looked taken aback and later questioned her about what she meant – but he was easily distracted by a kiss from her.

Viewers are absolutely sickened by the racist scenes and feel uncomfortable watching.

One wrote: “The way Lauren speaks about Darien. Open your eyes Max she is a racist.”

A second said: “Lauren and her cronies are vile there’s no place for racists in this world they always make excuses for their disgusting remarks.”

Another added: “I want to punch Lauren what a vile racist she is! Poor daryan.”
