EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans all have the same complaint after another massive schedule shake-up

SOAP fans all had the same complaint after another massive schedule shake-up on Monday night.

EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street were pulled off the air after broadcasters made the decision to cancel their shows once again to bid a final farewell to the Queen.

ITV’s Emmerdale and Corrie were pull off air on Monday night

EastEnders also didn’t air on the day of the Queen’s funeral

But many unhappy viewers took to social media to hit out at the decision.

One wrote: “@ITV @BBC why have you cancelled tonight’s programs AGAIN? enough, there are people out here are sick of coverage of funeral. was advertised as being normal programs tonight.”

Another said: “No #EastEnders tonight :(“

And a third added: “Just seen #EastEnders has been replaced by Paddington 2 tonight, I am not happy.”

However other viewers were left in tears over the tribute to the late monarch.

The lovable bear become synonymous with Her Majesty following a sweet sketch which was filmed for the Platinum Jubilee.

That sketch showed the Queen offering her customary good-humoured hospitality to the clumsy bear, and pulling a marmalade sandwich out of her iconic handbag.

It was a reassuring appearance from the smiling monarch – despite not being able to attend the live event itself because of her health.

Since the Queen’s death, a number of Paddington tributes have been left at Buckingham Palace in honour of Her Majesty.

The iconic soaps were also pulled following the death of Her Majesty on Thursday 8 September.

EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street didn’t air on Friday 9 September.
