BALDUR’S Gate has been hugely successful, having almost a million concurrent players.

Even developer Larian didn’t expect such a huge success, predicting only around 100k players.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has taken the gaming world by storm.

Currently only available for PC via clients like Steam, it has still managed to be incredibly popular.

One of the reasons for its popularity of Baldur’s Gate 3 is the variety of options you have for the path forward.

There are hundreds of decisions, from who makes up your party to the types of attacks you use in battle.

If you’ve played the other Baldur’s Gate games, you still might not know there is one spell type that is more powerful than others, and few players are using it.

Ritual Spells don’t require a Spell Slot when used outside of battle, making them overpowered.

You can also cast them as quickly as you can any other spell.

This allows you to buff your party members just before you enter battle or cast utility spells like Talk to Animals, without using a spell slot for them.

You can also cast these on every party member, turning them into enduring buffs for your entire group.

Casting things like Longstrider can give your team a massive advantage, and they won’t use a Spell Slot for it in battle.

After your long rest, you can set up all of the Ritual Spells you need for the next section of the game.

Movement and resistance buffs can be cast as Ritual Spells, and are always handy in battles.

They also allow you to access spells from other classes, giving you an extensive list of Feats when you reach Level 4.

Ritual Caster is the most powerful of these, which lets you use any Level 1 spell as a Ritual Spell.

While it is a little tedious to cast a huge number of spells at the start of every day, it is worth the time investment.

Using this method will speed up your progress overall, especially if you are struggling with some of the tougher fights.
