POKÉMON Scarlet & Violet has started its next seven-star raid featuring Hisuian Typhlosion.

When does the Hisuian Typhlosion raid start?

The Hisuian Typhlosion seven-star raid will take place over two weekends, just like the majority of Scarlet & Violet raids. The two weekends will only be a week apart, so the raids won’t be around for long. Here are the two weekends the Hisuian Typhlosion will be available:

  • Friday, November 3, 2023, until Sunday, November 5, 2023.
  • Friday, November 10, 2023, until Sunday, November 12, 2023.

7-Star Tera Raid Hisuian Typhlosion stats, moves, and ability

Here’s the set for Hisuian Typhlosion.

The Mightiest Typhlosion – Level 100

Nature – Modest

Ability – Frisk

Item – None

Tera-type – Fire

Move set – Infernal Parade, Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Will-O-Wisp, Focus Blast

Hisuian Typhlosion’s ability won’t matter here, as it will have the Hidden Ability Frisk. However, Fire-tera Typhlosion can deal a huge amount of damage with its powerful special Fire-type attacks. Moves like Flamethrower and Infernal Parade can do serious damage, especially when paired with Sunny Day. It has Focus Blast as its coverage into Normal- and Rock-types which also packed a punch, and physical attackers are hard to use due to Will-O-Wisp.

7-Star Tera Raid Hisuian Typhlosion best counter

Here’s what we recommend:

Gyarados – Level 100

Nature – Careful

Ability – Moxie

Item – Shell Bell

Tera-type – Water

Move set – Taunt, Thunder Wave, Rain Dance, Waterfall

Gyarados seems like a riskier choice as it is a physical attacker that can be affected by burn. However, with heal cheer, you should be able to manage this, and as it only Will-O-Wisps on Turn 2, you can Taunt Turn 1 and shut it down. Its great typing means that it can shrug off any of the attacks that Typhlosion uses. Gyarados has access to Moxie, which means that if you are fighting the raid solo, you can knock out NPC partners to boost up your attack. It also has access to a good number of support moves that will really help you out, helping Typhlosion to miss moves and give it more survivability. With Thunder Wave’s chance to Paralyse and Waterfall’s chance to Flinch, it’s likely to never get a turn off.
