Event Overview
Every few weeks, Pokémon releases a new limited-time event where players can catch a rare monster. The current event features a challenging monster with high defenses, but there is a way to catch it.
Catching Meganium
Skeledirge is deemed the best Pokémon for this raid. Meganium, the target of seven-star raids, will be available on two subsequent weekends:
- Friday, April 5, 2024, until Sunday, April 7, 2024
- Friday, April 12, 2024, until Sunday, April 14, 2024
Meganium's Stats and Abilities
Meganium is a Psychic-tera type with the Leaf Guard ability, preventing status conditions when the sun is up. Its defensive stats are robust, making it challenging to defeat, especially with the screens it sets up. However, its offensive stats are less impressive, utilizing Curse to buff its attack.
Mighty Meganium's Attributes
At Level 100, the Mighty Meganium has an Impish nature, Leaf Guard ability, and a move set including Zen Headbutt, Body Press, Curse, Seed Bomb, Light Screen, Reflect, and Bulldoze.
Recommended Strategy with Skeledirge
Skeledirge is the key to catching Meganium quickly and easily, thanks to its Unaware ability, negating extra damage from Curse's Attack boosts. The recommended set for Skeledirge includes Torch Song, Mud-Slap, Shadow Ball, and Slack Off.
