Countdown to the TMNT Event
EPIC Games has been teasing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collab in Fortnite, and the special event is finally on its way. Update 28.20 brought a new countdown featuring an image of Shredder, leading up to the TMNT event's launch on Friday.
Release Date and Start Time
The Fortnite x TMNT collab is set to start on Friday, February 9, at 2pm UK Time / 9am ET. This is when the event countdown will reach zero, and the TMNT-themed quests and rewards will be added to the game.
TMNT Skins: Shredder and Splinter
The highlight of this TMNT collab is the Shredder skin, which will have two variants. One is based on Shredder's appearance in comic books, and the other is Super Shredder, his mutated empowered version from the TMNT II film. Fans can also look forward to a Master Splinter skin, based on the turtles' wise mutant rat mentor.
TMNT Mythic Weapons
The TMNT collab will introduce four new Mythic weapons with Dash and Attack abilities. Players can expect Leonardo's Katana, Donatello's Staff, Raphael's Sai, and Michelangelo's Nunchucks to be part of the event.
New POI and Hoverboard
The map will feature a new point of interest called Turtle Lair, and players will have the chance to find and use the turtles' iconic hoverboard as a new vehicle in the game. Additionally, a purchasable quest pack will be available, offering exclusive quests to level up your Battle Pass.
